Alunos de Etec da capital criam aplicativo que facilita doação de sangue
Aplicativo elaborado por estudantes da Etec Abdias do Nascimento faz a ponte entre pessoas que desejam doar e quem precisa de doação
A falta crônica de sangue nos hemocentros sempre incomodou um grupo de estudantes da Escola Técnica Estadual (Etec) Abdias do Nascimento, localizada em Paraisópolis, zona sul da capital. Em 2020, a turma começou a pensar em uma forma de impulsionar as doações usando a tecnologia como aliada.
Era o pontapé inicial para a criação do aplicativo ‘Sangue Herói’, que vem ganhando corpo, participando de competições e hackatons. O projeto vai se tornar o trabalho de conclusão de curso (TCC) do time de cinco alunos que agora frequenta as aulas da terceira série do Ensino Médio Integrado ao Técnico em Desenvolvimento de Sistemas.
Com base em entrevistas feitas com os colegas e outras pessoas próximas, os estudantes Rafaela Moreira do Nascimento, Rodrigo Lopes Pereira, Lucas Phelipe Thomaz, Cynthia Graytt Teixeira da Silva e Bruno Cícero da Silva concluíram que 93% dos entrevistados tinham interesse em doar sangue – praticamente a mesma proporção de participantes (90%) que não faziam ideia de como proceder para transformar o interesse em ação real.
“Eles querem desmitificar as questões relacionadas à doação”, avalia Stephany Martins Conceição, orientadora da turma desde o início do projeto, em 2020. “Eles continuam implementando novas funcionalidades”, diz a professora, acostumada a ver seus alunos envolvidos em ações em prol da comunidade e do meio ambiente.
Interatividade
“Trata-se de um aplicativo bem simples e interativo. Ao se cadastrar, o usuário preenche dados como peso, idade, tipo sanguíneo e já fica sabendo se está apto a realizar a doação”, explica Rafaela. O ‘Sangue Herói’ também informa os benefícios que a ação reverte ao doador, como isenção da taxa de pagamento de alguns concursos, um dia de folga no trabalho e direito à meia entrada em eventos de entretenimento, cultura, esportes e lazer.
Mesmo que o grupo ainda queira aperfeiçoar o aplicativo, já existe um protótipo finalizado e testado. “Durante o nosso TCC, pretendemos deixá-lo pronto para levá-lo às plataformas digitais”, avisa Rafaela.
Herói que salva vidas
Entre os dados que serão inseridos estão os endereços de hemocentros da região. Além disso, o ‘Sangue Herói’ já procura empresas parceiras que, ao apresentar determinado número de colaboradores-doadores, terão o direito de usar um selo semelhante ao GPTW (Great Place to Work, criado nos anos 1980).
“As doações de sangue não são tratadas à altura da sua relevância”, comenta Rafaela. A estudante relata o caso do pai de uma amiga que esperou oito dias por uma transfusão. Quando o sangue chegou, ele estava à beira da morte – mas sobreviveu. “Essas vidas precisam ser salvas”, explica a aluna. “Usamos o nome Sangue Herói porque essa ação salva vidas”.
