Prefeitura de Sorocaba inaugura mais uma creche nesta sexta-feira (5) no Jardim Itália – Agência de Notícias

A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Educação (Sedu), realizou, na tarde desta sexta-feira (5), a entrega de mais uma unidade escolar, desta vez no Jardim Itália, na região do Éden. Foi entregue o Centro de Educação Infantil (CEI) 141 “Maria de Lourdes da Silva Fernandes”, que atenderá cerca de 250 crianças. A unidade está localizada na esquina das ruas Arnaldo Januário Werneck com Mário Silveira da Almeida.
A nova creche segue o mesmo padrão moderno e confortável das novas escolas que estão sendo construídas no município e tem cerca de 1.300 metros quadrados de área construída, contando com recursos como cozinha equipada, com despensa, playground, solários, além de amplos espaços ao ar livre.
O método construtivo foi realizado em PVC/Concreto, que trouxe agilidade na execução da obra e reduzirá significativamente a demanda no bairro por vagas no segmento creche.
O CEI-141 será administrado por gestão compartilhada pelo Instituto dos Filhos Misericordiosos da Cruz (IFMC), que atua há quase 20 anos na área da Educação.
A nova creche era muito aguardada pelos moradores locais e trará mais comodidade para muitas famílias do entorno. Entre elas a da dona de casa Roselaine, que é também deficiente auditiva e tem uma filha, Laura, que é ouvinte, mas aprendeu a Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras) desde um ano de idade. Roselaine esteve presente na inauguração, com sua filha, e comemorou o fato da construção de uma nova escola, tão próxima de sua residência, pois a outra escola, que a filha frequentava, era muito distante.
Essa é a quinta unidade escolar entregue, entre as 17 anunciadas pela atual Administração. Antes dessa já foram inaugurados outros três Centros de Educação Infantil: o CEI-137 “Ambrosina Amaral Marchetti”, na Vila Almeida; o CEI-138 “Prof.ª Ana Carolina Martins Alves Porto Foramiglio”, no Jardim Novo Horizonte; mais o CEI-140 “Professor Carlos Camargo Costa”, no Parque São Bento; enquanto no Jardim Iporanga foi instalada a Escola Municipal “Isabel Crespo Wey”, que atende a etapa pré-escola em período integral.
A inauguração da nova creche no Jardim Itália contou com grande público, composto por moradores locais e autoridades, incluindo equipe da Sedu e da organização IFMC, representada por seu presidente, Dom James Tavares de Melo. Também estiveram presentes a diretora da escola, Cláudia Gasparino; a engenheira da empresa responsável pela construção, Casa Grande, Cláudia Roberta das Neves; a Dra. Andressa Lima de Camargo, que fez a leitura da biografia da patrona da escola; além do viúvo da homenageada, conhecido como José Paraíba; e uma das filhas do casal, Natalícia Fernandes da Silva.
