Dia Internacional da Mulher é celebrado com evento especial no Teatro Pedro Salomão José

Com o objetivo de celebrar o Dia Internacional da Mulher (8 de março), a Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid), realizará, no dia 8 de março (sexta-feira), das 18h às 20h, o evento “Mulheres Protagonistas”, no Teatro Pedro Salomão José, localizado na Avenida Dr. Eugênio Salerno, 298, na Vila Santa Terezinha, anexo à Escola Municipal “Getúlio Vargas”.
Organizado pela Coordenadoria da Mulher e o Clube do Idoso, ambos da Secretaria da Cidadania, o evento tem como intuito homenagear mulheres da cidade que estão em cargos predominantemente ocupados pelos homens.
Na ocasião, além das homenagens a essas figuras femininas de destaque na sociedade local, o público poderá conferir apresentações musicais e também teatral, representado por frequentadores do Clube do Idoso, e número de dança.
A programação é gratuita e aberta a todos. O convite para prestigiar o evento “Mulheres Protagonistas” podem ser retirados, a partir de terça-feira (27), das 8h às 17h, diretamente no Clube do Idoso, localizado na Rua Padre Lara de Moraes, s/n, em Pinheiros.
