Gulfstream espera receber certificação do G700 ainda este ano

A Gulfstream está apresentando pela primeira vez o avião executivo de ultralongo alcance G700 no Dubai Airshow, nos Emirados Árabes Unidos, à medida que a campanha de testes de seu novo jato se aproxima da fase final.

A empresa espera que a certificação do G700 pela Administração Federal de Aviação dos Estados Unidos (FAA, na sigla em inglês), ocorra ainda durante o próximo mês de dezembro, com as primeiras entregas sendo realizadas ainda este ano.

O jato lançado em outubro de 2019, está equipado com os motores Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 e terá alcance de 7.500 milhas náuticas, ou 13.890 quilômetros, podendo transportar oito passageiros e quatro tripulantes, voando a Mach 0.85, o equivalente a 904 quilômetros por hora.

Nesta velocidade o G700 pode voar, por exemplo, sem escalas entre São Paulo e Perth, na Austrália, oferecendo um ampla e refinada cabine.

O nível de cruzeiro inicial é de 41 mil pés, ou 12.496 metros de altitude, podendo chegar a 51 mil pés de teto operacional, enquanto a sua velocidade máxima é Mach 0.925, cerca de 985 km/h.

No cockpit, os operadores terão a disposição comandos fly-by-wire movimentados por meio de side sticks ativos, que se movem de maneira idêntica, independentemente de qual lado esteja aplicando o comando, melhorando a consciência situacional entre os tripulantes.

Todos os sistemas do G700 são acionados de forma digital, não há nenhum instrumento analógico, o que inclui também os procedimentos de checklist.
